This GMW-B5000-GD-1 reference houses Module 3459 behind a negative Super Twisted Nematic LCD screen, which uses a film solar panel to power Bluetooth smartphone connectivity and Multi-Band 6 atomic radio reception to sync time. Casio also redesigned the lug attachment into a 3-pronged pipe configuration because the dimpled steel bracelet required greater shock dispersion than the 1983 resin strap.
